Aquaman #10
Peter David, Jim Calafiore, and Peter Palmiotti bring undersea action to a boil in this 1995 entry in Aquaman's ongoing series. The cover — penciled by Calafiore and inked by Mark McKenna — plunges us into a swirling underwater battle, with a long-haired, hook-handed Aquaman and a black-suited Green Lantern straining against an enormous glowing-green serpentine creature, a swarm of vivid red clownfish drifting across the ocean floor below. The tagline "A Little Green in the Gills!" promises that this team-up — or clash — with a Lantern is anything but ordinary.
