The bank is robbed by Shot-Gun Sadie and her gang. Onlookers are surprised when Annie is outdrawn and outshot by Sadie. Later, the gang strikes again at the express office but this time Annie manages to rope Sadie and pull her off her horse. Ben Oakley rushes to Sadie who has hit her head hard on the ground. Ben recognizes her as his long-lost wife Agnes, Annie's mother. When she comes to, Agnes now remembers who she is and explains that when a bullet grazed her head years earlier, the outlaw gang convinced her she was an outlaw, too. The gang is captured and the Oakley family reunited.
