The Brain clutches a remote control and declares his "pants-shrinking device will bring the world to its knees!" while a very uncomfortable Pinky flails in the air, his green trousers apparently already feeling the effects — it's a wonderfully silly cover from penciller Walter Carzon and inker Horacio Ottolini. This January 2000 issue of DC's Animaniacs spotlights the duo in a story cheekily titled "The Britches of Madison County," promising the kind of absurdist world-domination scheming that makes these two so entertaining. At $1.99, it's a charming snapshot of the WB Kids era done right.
