Angel Catbird #2
In "To Castle Catula," Margaret Atwood and Johnnie Christmas deliver a delightfully strange journey as Angel Catbird is led through a feline-fueled adventure to the mysterious Castle Catula. Along the way, he encounters Atheen-Owl, a half-owl with ancient roots and a sharp wit, setting off a quiet rivalry with Cate—while a sudden Drat drone sends Catbird racing back to his lab. With his capture imminent, the half-cats rally to save him, setting the stage for a tense, heartfelt rescue. The story’s lush visuals and layered worldbuilding shine, all rendered in Johnnie Christmas’s expressive art and Tamra Bonvillain’s vivid colors, with a striking cover by Christmas himself.
