Angel and the Ape #2
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freePart two of four in Phil Foglio and K.S. Wilson's offbeat 1991 miniseries, and the cover makes an immediate impression: a massive, grinning green face fills the background while two alarmed women — one silver-haired in a striped coat, the other a blonde in a red costume marked "DB" with bunny ears — scramble in apparent panic. A lurking figure crouches in the upper corner, and a second sinister face peers from a corner inset, hinting that trouble is closing in from every direction. Foglio's loose, expressive linework gives the whole scene a gleeful, slightly unhinged energy that suits a series never afraid to play its superhero comedy completely straight-faced.
