Jeff Matsuda's pencils and Jon Sibal's inks give the scene a kinetic, atmospheric tension that suits the show's blend of supernatural dread and street-level grit. The third chapter of "Surrogates" looks to be putting Angel through his paces, with a creative team including Christopher Golden, Christian Zanier, and Andy Owens delivering the goods in 2000.
