“Evil Lurks Amongst Us”

"Evil Lurks Amongst Us" in Amazing Stories of Suspense #89 delivers a mind-bending twist on the classic séance trope, as a skeptical reporter’s attempt to debunk a hypnotist’s spirit channeling act spirals into a terrifying loop across time. With art by John Forte and a striking cover by Paul Reinman, the story plunges its protagonist into a disorienting journey where identity dissolves across centuries—leaving him trapped between lives, unsure of who he truly is.
