All-Star Section Eight #2

The second issue of this six-part 2015 DC series pairs an exasperated Green Lantern — hand pressed to his face in barely contained disbelief — with the cheerfully oblivious Sixpack, who strikes a triumphant pose amid towering stacks of booze boxes and bottles rendered in an all-consuming green glow. Amanda Conner's cover does a wonderful job capturing the comedic chemistry between DC's most earnest space cop and comics' most enthusiastic drunk. Garth Ennis and John McCrea's story promises exactly the kind of irreverent, warm-hearted absurdity that "It's Not Easy Being Green" suggests.
