The penultimate chapter of Dark Horse's six-part Aliens series arrives with a cover by Mark A. Nelson that pulls you straight into the heart of darkness — a sweeping, organic tunnel of alien architecture curves around two tiny human figures, dwarfed by the biomechanical hive spiraling above and below them. The cool blues and electric pinks of the alien resin contrast with the fragile white of those distant astronaut suits, making the scale feel genuinely terrifying. With Nelson also handling interior art and Mark Verheiden scripting, issue #5 of 6 is a fine place to feel the tension building toward the series' finale.
