Marvel's 2021 revival of the Alien universe is already delivering unsettling imagery, and this second issue leans into that dread with a cover by InHyuk Lee that fuses man and Xenomorph in genuinely haunting fashion. A man stands eyes-closed within a sleek spacecraft corridor, his calm face belying the Xenomorph form that bleeds through his body like a ghostly double — while a second Xenomorph lurks at the edge of the frame, its clawed arm reaching in from the shadows. Phillip Kennedy Johnson, Salvador Larroca, and Guru-eFX bring their talents to this series, and if this cover is any indication, the line between human and alien has never felt more disturbingly thin.
