Dan Panosian's cover for issue three is hard to look away from — a massive, snarling Cheshire Cat fills the frame, its piercing green eyes and dripping fangs radiating something far more unsettling than charm. A chaotic cluster of contradictory signposts ("Go This Way," "Look Here," "Noooo!!") swirls behind it, perfectly capturing Wonderland's maddening logic. Framed by gold-tinted Wonderland vignettes along the borders, this BOOM! Studios series clearly isn't content to stay cozy with the familiar fairy tale.
