The bold cover declaration "We Are Back!" sets an appropriately triumphant tone for this 2003 Marvel series as Agent X strides front and center, hefting an enormous rifle with unmistakable confidence, flanked by a colorful crew that includes a masked, hooded figure and three women — one in a cowboy hat, one in a red top, and a younger fighter peeking from behind. Gail Simone kicks off "Deadpool Walkin'" with this issue, and the cover art by Alvin Lee and Udon Studios gives the assembled team a swagger that feels genuinely earned. It's a fun, energetic lineup that promises plenty of action ahead.
