From Humanoids comes this intriguing sci-fi opener by writer James Hudnall and artist Mark Vigouroux, subtitled "Ares." The cover sets a quietly unsettling tone: two figures in form-fitting suits — one green-hued and powerfully built, the other slender and copper-toned with a rounded helmet — drift weightlessly above battered, angular machinery, their long shadows stretched across a pale wall while deep space looms on the other side. It's a striking image that suggests something has gone very wrong in orbit, and Vigouroux's clean, restrained linework makes the silence feel just as charged as any explosion would.
