The cover by Terry Dodson and Mark Farmer sets a vivid, uneasy tone: Superman and Lois Lane appear to be caught mid-flight in some lush, otherworldly environment, with billowing orange clouds, exotic pink insects drifting nearby, and a glowing alien sky suggesting anything but a relaxing getaway. Lois looks alarmed as she reaches toward Superman, whose expression is tightly focused — the tagline "Double Trouble in Paradise!" summing up the mood perfectly. Writer J. M.
