Superman continues to work overtime trying to make up for his wrong doings because of Dominus. Lex Luthor breaks Metallo's head out of Stryker's and sets up an interview with Superman to happen while Metallo is set loose at the airport. Lois figures out Lex's plan and Superman skips the interview to stop Metallo.
