“Children and Monsters!”

In "Children and Monsters!", Superman Blue crosses paths with Lena Luthor, sparking a moment of unexpected tension as Lex Luthor wields a sharp remark about his ability to have children. When a series of brutal attacks rocks Metropolis, the mayor brings in mercenary Burton "Hunter" Thompson to hunt the Ripper, a creature that proves to be more than just mindless violence. With the Metropolis Special Crimes Unit and Superman joining the hunt, the truth behind the Ripper's intelligence begins to unravel—only for Thompson to make a fatal decision that hints at a darker, hidden agenda. Written by Karl Kesel and illustrated by Tom Grummett, Denis Rodier, and Scott Koblish, with colors by Glenn Whitmore and Digital Chameleon, and letters by Albert DeGuzman, the cover by Tom Grummett and Denis Rodier captures the tension of a city on edge.
