"The Ghost Invaders" follows Dan Logan and his bride as they travel to the English village of Charlton, reportedly the most haunted region in England, where good ghosts battle evil spirits for control. A scientist named Dr. Braun creates an invisible statue using a mystical ritual involving the god Tang, intending to use it to gain revenge on those who mocked his frail body, but the statue ultimately breaks free from his control. In the cover story, a man encounters a mysterious witch-woman who commands a giant octopus while cryptically asking if he now knows what she is.
When Joyce and Walter accept an invitation for a moonlit sail, they're drawn into the legendary Sargasso Sea—a graveyard of derelict ships haunted by the Sea Hag and her supernatural servants. Trapped in a nightmare of ancient hulks, evil spirits, and creatures from the deep, the young couple must fight their way through impossible odds to survive the Sea Hag's clutches. Their only hope lies in a desperate gamble that could destroy the entire cursed fleet.
When Dan Logan brings his bride Tess back to his ancestral home in the haunted English village of Charlton, they discover the town harbors far more than legend—a battle between two warring factions of ghosts is about to engulf the entire community. As evil spirits attempt to invade and claim the village for themselves, Dan and Tess, along with the protective spirits of his ancestors including great-uncle Ambrose, must find a way to save both the living townspeople and the benevolent ghosts who call Charlton home. With the fate of mortals and spirits hanging in the balance, an ingenious plan emerges from an unlikely source—and nature itself becomes the ultimate weapon.
Inventor Jerry Mills creates a revolutionary invisible plastic and demonstrates it to his former professor, Dr. Braun—who harbors sinister plans and uses it to craft a statue of Tang, an ancient Mongolian god, as a vessel for his own mind through dark ritual magic. When an invisible killer begins stalking the city, Jerry suspects the truth and must devise a desperate trap to stop the fiend before Fran becomes its next victim.
In a remote Caribbean hospital, healer Marsha and her husband Greg work to restore health to the island's struggling inhabitants—until Marsha falls under the hypnotic control of a zombie master bent on destroying Greg's medical work and claiming both of them as undead servants. As the villain's influence tightens and Greg becomes the next target, Marsha must fight to break free from the spell's grip before the zombie master's final, irreversible curse takes hold.
Johnny Green is a dreamer whose head is full of fantasies that never materialize—until a mysterious stranger offers him a bargain that will make his dreams come true. When Johnny accepts, his visions begin manifesting into reality, bringing him wealth and freedom, but at a cost that grows darker with each new dream that he wills into existence. This 1953 tale explores what happens when a man gets everything he wished for, only to discover that some dreams should have stayed imaginary.
