“Why the Leprechauns Left Ireland!”

In "Why the Leprechauns Left Ireland!", Dr. Howard Jordan attempts to bridge the gap between Alan Foster and Marla Goren, whose love exists only in dreams—where they believe they can be together in eternity. When Jordan tries to bring them together in reality, a tragic plane crash leaves Alan dead, leaving Marla and the world questioning the cost of dreamlike connections. Written by Richard Hughes and illustrated by Dick Beck with inks by Pete Costanza, this haunting tale features a cover by Ogden Whitney that captures its eerie, otherworldly tone.
