Adventure Time #64

Finn and Jake float through a dreamy, otherworldly landscape in this 2017 KaBOOM! entry, dressed in what look like ghostly spacesuits alongside BMO, a halo-crowned spirit figure with wings, and a delightful crowd of strange little creatures drifting through a surreal alien cityscape. The cover art by Shelli Paroline and Braden Lamb gives the whole scene a wonderfully floaty, ethereal quality — all soft blues, warm oranges, and fluttering butterflies. With Mariko Tamaki writing and Ian McGinty on interior art, issue #64 promises the kind of heartfelt weirdness that makes this series such a treat.
