The Land of Ooo gets a serious summer-fun upgrade in this 2013 KaBOOM! entry, as Mike Holmes's cover sends Finn the Human rocketing down a wild, looping golden water slide that winds around a glittering crystal mountain. Jake the Dog, BMO, Lumpy Space Princess, Marceline, Flame Princess, and a whole crowd of Ooo residents are along for the ride, each careening through their own twist of the slide toward a splashing pool below. It's a wonderfully chaotic, sun-soaked image that captures exactly why Ryan North, Shelli Paroline, and Braden Lamb's run on this series feels like a genuine treat for fans of all ages.
