In "The Rich Robbers," Hourman races to clear his name after a group of wealthy sports club members turn to crime, raiding Bannerman Laboratories and stealing a supply of Miraclo from Rex Tyler’s lab—leaving the night watchman unconscious in their wake. With one of the thieves gaining dangerous strength from a Miraclo pill, Hourman must outwit both the criminals and the very drug that powers his own heroic efforts.
In "The Voodoo Sorcerer," the Sandman investigates a murder in a mysterious Caribbean village, where a voodoo dancer is framed for killing a man with her leopard-tail whip. As the case unfolds, the truth reveals a deeper conspiracy behind the crime, with the dancer caught in a web of deception and vengeance.
