Adventure Comics #295
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis April 1962 issue of Adventure Comics delivers one of the more delightfully absurd cover scenarios DC had to offer: a massive, crackle-skinned Bizarro-Titano blasts blue kryptonite vision directly at a grimacing Bizarro-Superman, while a woman in red looks on and cheerfully notes that everyone on their world must be jealous of such a "favor." John Forte's linework gives the giant Bizarro-ape a wonderfully menacing presence, and the cover's deadpan Bizarro logic — where being blasted is considered a kindness — makes it instantly charming. Rounding out the issue is a Superboy story promising a duel with "Bronze-Boy," making this a packed 12-cent package from 1962.
