Action Comics #891
In "The Black Ring Part Two," Lex Luthor finds himself trapped in a series of surreal dreams orchestrated by the mind-bending Mister Mind—witnessing a caveman's first fire, a Frankenstein's creation, a western sheriff's showdown, and even a twisted version of himself as Super-Lex. Written by Paul Cornell and illustrated by Pete Woods and Cafu, with inks by Woods and BIT, colors by Brad Anderson, and letters by Rob Leigh, the issue builds tension as Lex begins to shape the dreams himself, turning the tables on his unseen tormentor. The cover by David Finch and Matt Banning captures the eerie, high-stakes atmosphere of a mind war waged in the shadows of Metropolis.
