A woman with magnetic powers named Repulse almost kills Aura (from Superboy and the Ravers). Meanwhile, Superman rescues a small village in Africa from raiders and then brings Lois breakfast. A "fight" breaks out in Metropolis between Repulse and Dr. Polaris, with Jimmy and Mr. Schuman covering the story. Superman intervenes, whisks Dr. Polaris away, and tells him Repulse doesn't exist. Dr. Polaris then attacks Superman, speaking as Repulse.
