Action Comics #758 puts Superman in a seriously tough spot — the cover by Stuart Immonen and José Marzán Jr. shows the Man of Steel taking direct energy blasts while grappling with a massive, menacing crustacean creature piloted by a mechanical operator. The sheer scale of the beast, its claws filling the entire frame against a city backdrop, makes "Rock Lobster" feel like exactly the kind of oversized, imaginative threat that keeps Superman's adventures endlessly entertaining.
