It's a viscerally effective image from cover penciler Kieron Dwyer and inker Denis Rodier, capturing just how physically overwhelming this particular villain can be. With David Michelinie writing and Gil Kane on interior art, Action Comics #715 looks like a genuinely tense showdown between Superman and one of his more unsettling foes.
