Mr. and Mrs. John Vandevier lost their son while he was flying over Korea. A photograph reveals that he is almost an exact double of Clark Kent, and the couple want to adopt him. To prevent Mrs. Vandevier from dying of a broken heart he agrees, but in maintaining his meek posture he is a severe disappointment to them. Eventually, as Superman, he finds their lost son on a remote island, where his plane had been downed, and reunites them.
