Superman arrives in the year 8527 to be honored and demonstrate his power. But Solaris interferes with his powers and makes the crowd think he is actually a fake. The crowd comes after him, and Superman must battle a varied group of super-powered residents of the 86th Century. Hawkmen take him to see the original Platinum, who recognizes him as the real Superman. Together they take out the telepathic Internet everyone uses and Superman is able to locate the Fortress.
