In "Lord of Misrule, Part 10," Sláine confronts Sheriff Gilbert, uncovering that Niamh—now reincarnated as Sister Marian—holds the secret to the Sword of the Blood God. As Marian refuses to speak, Sláine deciphers the God’s true name and calls forth the entity in a desperate bid to end the threat. Though the Blood God retreats, cursing Marian to death by fire, the Goddess intervenes to save her—only for Broog to summon the God once more. With the battle raging, Sláine stands alone against the monstrous force, determined to break the cycle.
