Two cyber-enhanced dinosaurs tear into each other on Paul Marshall's wildly energetic cover for this 1993 instalment of 2000 AD — a yellow raptor-like creature blazes away with a multi-barrelled gun while a massive red theropod looms behind it, both bedecked with flower decals and mechanical implants in gloriously absurd fashion. Headlined as the "Final Shattering Instalment" of the Summer Offensive, Prog 845 [sic] promises the conclusion to Dino-Race 2030 in Slaughter Bowl, alongside the continuing Judge Dredd feature. It's a fittingly carnivorous send-off to a summer run that clearly had no shortage of imagination.
