A gauntleted hand reaches toward a targeting map of Mega-City One as a skull-helmeted figure looms ominously in the background — Carlos Ezquerra's cover for 2000 AD Prog 245 (January 1982) sets an ominous tone with the battle cry "Let the Apocalypse Begin!" The "Target: Mega-City One!" banner makes clear that Dredd's city is squarely in someone's crosshairs, and the tension practically leaps off the yellow-drenched cover. Also packed into this prog is Part 2 of "The Lugjack," with interior art by Belardinelli — a fine reason to crack this one open.
