2000 AD #16
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeFrom the early weeks of Britain's landmark weekly anthology comes 2000 AD Prog 16, dated 11 June 1977. Brian Bolland's cover delivers a genuinely arresting image: a U.S. Air Force jet, trailing fire and smoke, is being torn apart as it collides with the dome of the Capitol Building, the whole structure rising from churning floodwaters while the cover copy screams "Flight Z-40… Location Devil's Triangle… Amber Alert! We are being attacked by the Capitol Building!" — teasing the M.A.C.H. 1 "Top Thrill" strip within. Inside, Steve Moore and Massimo Belardinelli bring their talents to "Bounty Hunter," making this a fine snapshot of 2000 AD firing on all cylinders in its very first year.
