This August 2003 prog of 2000 AD puts Strontium Dog's Johnny Alpha front and center, heavily armed in his signature green-and-gold armor — and apparently in the grip of some very unwelcome "taxing times," as the cover tagline cheekily promises. Carlos Ezquerra's cover art pairs the gruff bounty hunter with a rotund, bowler-hatted tax inspector clutching a briefcase, whose wrist Alpha has firmly seized in a moment of comic tension that makes the headline "Collared and Cuffed!" land with a grin.
