The law should further stipulate that all advertisements about school books and supplies and clothing be kept from the pages of the public press before September 10, be- cause of their demoralizing influence in the life of small and medium-sized boys. There is no greater anguish in the world for the active youth than the ribald announcement that school is about to open. Let the humane society get on the job.
