Tue London Jelegraph recently gave its readers the following interesting information about this city: ‘During one of the recent cyclones which afflicted America, people in the west end of New York communicated with their friends in the east end by sending a telegram to London, which was then duly forwarded to the proper quarter, there being no communication between the two ends of the city."—New York Tribune.
