THE TEDDY BEARS. THEY PLAY A LITTLE TRICK ON JOMNNY, BUT IT DOESN'T TURN OUT JUST AS THEY INTENDED. 1. See how ainused the Teddies look 2. And sure enough, inside a minute. While Johnny reads in his big book! The six are ready to begin it, The litile rascals, you can bet, Now, watch their naughty, knowing air Will get about some mischief yet. As they build up a great big bear. 3. This done, they aim the bear's fierce face 4. No wonder Johnny yells with fright, Toward Johnny, who's putting his book in place. And scatters big books left and right. Then they advance with shuffling tread— Six Teddies, underneath the skin, It's enough to scare a little boy dead. Can hardly hold their laughter in, 5. Some heavy books spill on the Teds 6. In fact, he laughs till he is sore. And slap nice aches into their heads. But Teddies sit about the floor ‘Then Johnny sees into the trick, And glumly try to figure out And feels much better mighty quick. Just what there fs to laugh about.
