# Content Description
This July 1961 British edition of Analog Science Fact & Fiction contains several science fiction works. The featured short novel is "Ultima Thule" by Mack Reynolds, featuring protagonist Ronny Bronston, an average-looking applicant seeking an interplanetary assignment with United Planets. During his interview with a placement officer, Bronston—of mixed-race heritage and unorthodox religious views—passes a rigorous screening process, resulting in unexpected reassignment to Ross Metaxa's office in the Department of Justice. The novelette "Hiding Place" by Poul Anderson and story "Horrible Example" by Clifford D. Simak are also included. Arthur W. Orton contributes "The Four-Faced Visitors of Ezekiel." Editor John W. Campbell's featured editorial argues that a functional Utopian constitution depends not on governmental form but on the competence and benevolence of those administering it, regardless whether the system is anarchist, communist, or monarchical. The issue includes regular columns on reference materials and reader correspondence.
