This is not a pulp magazine but a declassified U.S. Air Force Project Blue Book document from October 1962. The record documents a UFO sighting reported near Eutaw, Alabama on October 19, 1962. A civilian observer reported a rectangular object approximately 3-4 times the size of a DC-3 aircraft, colorless with fixed green and white corner lights and twinkling interior lights, visible for 22 minutes at 60-degree elevation before climbing in zigzag flight at dawn. The object produced no sound. Air Force analysis concluded the sighting was likely the star Sirius in the same position, though alternative evaluations suggested a possible helicopter. The report notes a three-day delay in filing.
