This document is not a pulp magazine but rather U.S. Air Force UFO investigation materials from Project 10073 (Blue Book), circa 1962. It comprises official military forms and correspondence regarding a reported UFO sighting near Gretna, Louisiana on September 22, 1962.
The report documents a sighting by the operator of the fishing vessel Miss Lou anchored off Pass Christian. The object, observed with binoculars, was described as red and black with orange streaks and occasional yellow flames, appearing larger than a star and too low to be astronomical. The object traveled west to east toward Florida at high speed, observed from approximately 2261342Z to 22015Z. A Coast Guard transmission and subsequent Air Force letter requesting completion of investigative questionnaires (PTD Form 164) comprise the remaining documentation. The case was carried as unidentified due to insufficient data for evaluation.
