Sarah Dyer

Sarah Dyer is an American comic book writer and artist, born in 1978. She emerged from the zine movement of the late 1980s and early 1990s, a grassroots scene that shaped her voice. Dyer is best known for her self-published series *Action Girl Comics*, which won the Friends of Lulu "Lulu of the Year" award in 1998. She has also contributed to *Superman Adventures*, *The Collected Dork*, and the *Beasts of Burden* series, including *Occupied Territory* and *What the Cat Dragged In*.
