Luc Cromheecke
Luc Cromheecke was born on 2 August 1961 in Belgium. He is best known as the artist and writer behind the comic series *Tom Carbon*, *Taco Zip*, *Roboboy*, and *Plunk*. Cromheecke entered the comics field in the early 1990s, with his first credited work appearing in 1991. Over the next two decades, he contributed to titles such as *Eppo Stripblad*, *Sjors en Sjimmie Stripblad*, and the Dutch edition of *Spirou* (known as *Robbedoes*), often handling art, coloring, inking, lettering, and writing. His style is marked by clean, energetic linework and a playful sense of design, well suited to the humorous and adventure stories he created. Among his notable co-creations is the series *Roboboy*, a comedic science-fiction strip. Cromheecke's later career saw continued work on his own series and contributions to anthology magazines. He remains an active figure in the Flemish comics scene, recognized for his consistent output and distinctive voice in European comic art.
