Javier Grillo-Marxuach
Javier Grillo-Marxuach was born on October 28, 1969, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is best known as a television writer and producer, most notably for his work on the first two seasons of the ABC series *Lost*, as well as *Charmed* and *Law & Order: Special Victims Unit*. In comics, he was active from 2006 to 2018, writing twelve issues. His most credited titles include *Annihilation: Super-Skrull*, *Annihilation: Conquest - Wraith*, *Battlestar Galactica: Cylon Apocalypse*, and *The Middleman*, the latter of which he also adapted from his own television series. Grillo-Marxuach’s comic work often explored cosmic and sci-fi themes, collaborating with artists on Marvel’s *Annihilation* line. He also contributed to the *Colección Extra Superhéroes* and the *Annihilation: The Complete Collection*. Beyond writing, he is a podcaster and has remained active in genre storytelling. His legacy includes helping shape the intricate, character-driven mythology of *Lost* and expanding the Marvel cosmic universe in print.
