Irene Koh

Irene Koh is a comics artist born in Seoul, South Korea, best known for her clean, expressive linework and character-focused storytelling. She broke into the American comics industry working with major publishers including Dark Horse, DC, and Marvel. Koh is most recognized as the lead artist on the *Turf Wars* trilogy, the official graphic novel continuation of *The Legend of Korra*, where she brought the animated series’ world to vivid life on the page. Her other notable work includes illustrating the *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Casey and April* miniseries, as well as contributing to *Sensation Comics Featuring Wonder Woman* and *Secret Origins* for DC. She also collaborated on a Free Comic Book Day issue of *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles* in 2019. Koh’s style balances dynamic action with warm, expressive character designs, making her a natural fit for licensed properties. She has not publicly received major industry awards, but her work on *The Legend of Korra* earned a devoted fan following.
