Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Casey and April #2

April and Casey stand back-to-back in a sun-baked desert setting, arms crossed and clearly at odds, while an enormous, bandage-wrapped figure looms behind them — all sharp smile and glowing red eyes. Irene Koh's cover does a wonderful job capturing the tension between these two fan-favorite characters while making it plain that something far more menacing is shadowing their journey. Mariko Tamaki and Irene Koh's 2015 miniseries gives Casey and April the spotlight they deserve, and this second issue promises the drama is only deepening.
