Brockton McKinney
Brockton McKinney is an American comic book writer, short story author, and filmmaker best known for his work on licensed horror and comedy titles. He was born in the United States and began his comics career in the early 2010s, quickly establishing himself as a versatile writer for genre material. McKinney is most recognized for writing issues of *Rick and Morty* and its spin-off *Rick and Morty Presents: Maximum Crescendo*, as well as the original series *Ehmm Theory*, *Gingerdead Man*, and *Amerikarate*. He also contributed to *Mad Magazine*. In addition to comics, McKinney wrote and directed horror films for Full Moon Features, including *Evil Bong 666*, *Evil Bong 777*, and *Puppet Master*. His storytelling often blends dark humor with supernatural and sci-fi elements, and he has collaborated with artists such as Daniel J. Logan and George Kambadais. McKinney’s most notable co-creation is the series *The Osiris Path*. He remains active in the industry, with credits spanning from 2013 through 2025.
