Rick and Morty Presents: Maximum Overture #1
In *Rick and Morty Presents: Maximum Overture #1*, Rick and Morty find themselves trapped in a surreal, symphonic nightmare orchestrated by the enigmatic Concerto the Mad Composer, who turns music into deadly puzzles and puns into peril. Written by Brockton McKinney and brought to life by Jarrett Williams’ dynamic art and Leonardo Ito’s vivid colors, the issue throws the duo into a bizarre multiversal mystery—complete with a chaotic chicken uprising at a fast-food diner—while Rick struggles to recall any enemy quite like Concerto. The cover by Jarrett Williams captures the madness perfectly, setting the tone for a wild, off-key adventure.

Rick and Morty wake up to find that they are the prisoners of Concerto the Mad Composer, who subjects them to a series of music-themed deathtraps... and an even greater number of music-themed puns. While Rick may have a near-infinite number of enemies across the multiverse, he knows them one and all... but he has never heard of Concerto and has no idea as to why Concerto is after him. There's also a bloody attack on fast food restaurant diners by a horde of rabid chickens that might tie into Concerto's vendetta.
