Rick and Morty Presents: Maximum Crescendo #1
In "Maximum Crescendo!", Rick and Morty find themselves in a bizarre, high-stakes chase orchestrated by the unhinged composer Concerto, aided by his undead dog, French Sunday. When a spill of Rick’s unstable mega-fuel reanimates the dead in a nearby graveyard, the chaos escalates—unearthing a shocking reunion between French Sunday and the zombie Colonel Circusmeat. Written by Brockton McKinney and brought to life with dynamic art by Jarrett Williams, including his own cover pencils and inks, this wild ride blends surreal humor and supernatural stakes.

For reasons still unknown to Rick and Morty, Concerto the Mad Composer continues to pursue the pair with deadly intent. The undead-dog French Sunday serves as Concerto's bloodhound. A frantic car chase leads both pursuers and pursued to a graveyard where a leak of "highly dangerous and chemically unstable mega-fuel draining from [Rick's] car" causes the dead to rise... leading to a happy reunion between the zombie Colonel Circusmeat and French Sunday, his beloved rabid dog. Morty conjures-up The Undevil (Devil of the Undead), to whom Concerto owes an unspecified debt, allowing R&M to escape.
