Brad Rader is an American comic book artist, storyboard artist, and animation director, widely recognized for his Emmy Award win in 1999 for his contributions to the animated series *Todd McFarlane's Spawn*. Born in the United States, Rader's career in comics began in the early 1990s, and he has sometimes signed his artwork as "Raider." He is best known for his work on DC Comics' Batman family of titles, including *Catwoman*, *Batman Adventures*, and *Gotham Adventures*, where his clean, expressive linework and strong sense of composition made him a key collaborator on these animated-style series. Rader also co-created the original noir graphic novel *Fogtown* for Vertigo and the self-published, homoerotic graphic novel *Harry and Dickless Tom*, showcasing his range from mainstream superheroes to more personal, independent projects. His career has spanned over three decades, with credited work on 33 comic issues from 1993 to 2023, including contributions to *Bob's Burgers* and *DC Classics: The Batman Adventures*. Rader's legacy is marked by his versatility across comics and animation, and his Emmy remains a highlight of a career that has influenced both the visual storytelling of Batman's animated universe and the indie comics scene.
