Tracks
Tracks is an Autobot who transforms into a sleek sports car, known among his fellow Autobots for his vanity and love of his own vehicle mode. He fights alongside Optimus Prime and the Autobots in their ongoing war against the Decepticons.
Few Autobots made their entrance with quite the flair that Tracks did, debuting in Bob Budiansky and Don Perlin's The Transformers #14 in 1986 and immediately finding a place among Marvel's celebrated Copper Age run alongside heavy-hitters like Optimus Prime, Soundwave, and Prowl. Over nearly four decades β from those mid-'80s Marvel pages through to 2025 β Tracks has remained a recognizable presence in the Transformers mythos, appearing across The Transformers, Transformers Compendium, and The Transformers Universe. It's a testament to the enduring pull of Budiansky's era that characters introduced in those foundational issues continue to resonate with collectors and fans alike, and Tracks is a fine example of that golden creative moment when the Transformers universe was being built issue by thrilling issue.
