Terror
Terror is a mysterious Marvel mercenary whose body is composed of mismatched parts harvested from the dead, granting him unique abilities depending on which pieces he currently wears. He operates in Marvel's darker, street-level corners as a grim figure-for-hire.
Few characters in Marvel's Copper Age arrived with quite the intrigue of Terror, who burst onto the scene in Daredevil #305 in 1992, the creation of writer D. G. Chichester and artist Scott McDaniel. Over a publishing history that stretches a remarkable three decades into 2023, this enigmatic figure has carved out a niche in Marvel's darker corners, turning up across Beyond! and Deadpool: World's Greatest and keeping genuinely wild company β sharing pages with Spider-Man, Wade Wilson, Solo, and Shreck. With only 18 catalogued appearances, Terror is the definition of a cult discovery: rare enough to feel like a secret, connected enough to the Marvel universe to matter, and well worth tracking down for any collector who loves unearthing the strange, shadowy edges of the House of Ideas.
